Chango’s journey to rehabilitation and redemption takes a strange and inspiring twist.

Once in prison, Chango meets a serial rapist named Matias, who persists in befriending Chango. Chango resists, but after years of knowing each other in several different prisons Chango accepts his friendship. Matias confesses that five young men are doing time for a rape crime that he alone committed in 1989, a crime that the Manhattan district attorney’s office called one of the most controversial cases in NYC’s legal history.

Chango decides to do something good to try and make up for his own sordid past by helping his friend free his mind and act as a catalyst for solving the case. In this story, repentance and redemption reign supreme!
