About DeliKateSSen

DeliKateSSen deals with two brothers at odds with each other, their trauma and survival from living through the holocaust and the unfortunate perpetuation of hate…… It also takes place in the gritty cinematic era of 1970's, NYC and flashes back to the Nazi Germany of the 1940's. In light of today's uncertain times with Hate Crimes on the rise for many races, genders and religions, this explosive play/ film has many relevant messages.

The subject matter in this story needs to continue to be amplified, focusing on post Holocaust PTSD, the continuing cycle of hate, racial inequality, anti-semitism and hate crimes, which are at an all time high globally. The choice between forgiveness and revenge and the fascinating concept of epigenetic inheritance has recently been taken on by a research team at New York's Sinai Hospital stating: Genetic changes stemming from the trauma suffered by Holocaust survivors are capable of being passed on to their children, the clearest sign yet that one person’s life experience can affect subsequent generations, could be an illuminating and unique concept that we are hoping to share with the world.

Highlighting these issues on the screen, which our film does in a gritty 1970's NYC style with appropriate flash backs to 1940’s Germany is our way to bring this conversation to the national level. We strive to start a positive dialogue towards a resolution to some of these pressing issues.
